It's worth it in my opinion. Last time I checked R12 was like $60 a lb. and it's not as abundant as 134a.

R 12 is colder and better, they dont like to sell it anymore due to Meth labs.....

When you live in a place like Las Vegas, Nevada, R12 is worth EVERY PENNY. The fact of the matter is that R134a just doesn't cool really well. Especially when it is ued in an R12 system. If you care about having a good A/C (and if you live in Las Vegas, you DO care), DON'T convert to R134a. ESPECIALLY if you have an A/C that already works.
