guys I just bought a used 7.5 lb flywheel, seems like there is very little wear on it, should I still get it turned or what? Running my nail on it there is barely a noticable indentation.
Also got any links or directions for me as I get ready to the the install. I have a stage 1 clutch and the flywheel going in on a coupe 97.

7.5 lbs...isn't it aluminum?

 

yep, its aluminum

 

then you can't turn it. Your option for resurfacing is to have the manufacturer send you a new friction plate and the harware...which runs half as much as the flywheel.

 

do u think it needs to be replaced if there is barely a noticeable edge
