when i pop my hood sometimes it wont latch back when I close it so i have to push back in the latch inside of the car and the wire behind it. is there any way to fix this problem it is mostly a pain more than anything.

where at should i grease it where the latch is in the engine bay or inside the car behind the pull latch or both?
