Default NOT ENOUGH PEOPLE USE THIS BOARD!!!

I swear... no one on H-T likes motorcycles... it really sucks. I enjoy bikes about as much as i enjoy imports yet only a handfull of you seem to agree with me... tis a shame...

yeah. there are some good riding sites out there, so we only catch the import techie/bike crowd, which is pretty small. i can't think of any ways to promote this forum effectively...without just bringing in more useless posts.

we will always have the "whats a good first bike?" post from the random guy from another forum, but its cool. theres a good handful of riders that stop in regularly.

I used to ride all the time. But then I realized that I was a friggin loon and had no buisness on a bkie, les I end up dead.

When I think I can be more mature about it,I may buy another one.

At first I was ridind old CBR's and then when I got my new job I started buying crazier bikes,my last bike was an R1 and if I hadn't sold that and stayed away,my next bike was going to be a Hayabusa,so it's good I stopped when I did.

I stop in on a regular basis and I think we have a good group here. I've had a sportbike in my garage for the last 16 years, I guess you can call me a "mature" rider. You don't find many guys in the 35+ age group still ridding a true sportbike, most have either made the switch over to a BMW, gave up on bikes, or they've long since departed this world (i.e. a grease spot on some road).

Haha, we're the only age group that can afford te insurance. You just can't tell how old we are because we're not squidish I have friends who are over 60 and have many bikes, Ducatis, R1s, Rc51s.

thats another reason why im looking at a kawi 250R. People may laugh at me for getting a 250cc bike but i can get insurance for it for $200 a year. On a 96 Gixxer 750 id pay about $900 a year BARE min coverage.

do it. get that 250. you'll probably be a better rider for it in the long run. i can tell you right now my 750 is too much bike for a beginner. forunately i was a member of the over-the-handlebars club before i bought it so i twist my wrist cautiously...

I've been riding bikes longer than I've been driving cars.. and I was on track with them first also, so I'm here for both.

The problem I think is this is Honda Tech you all are not just talking about hondas.
I enojoy bikes a car can't come close to the acceleration without spending a fortune and making your car run like crap. Plus I can get the front wheels of my car up in the air at a 100 damn cars. :D
