well my wiring is pretty gay i need to fix it but when i would punch it the air fuel meter would just stay on that last red dot (LEAN) it goes on and off because the wiire is located under the gas pedal i think its just that meter thats screwed up cuz when i ran it from the header all the lights would go on and off... let me know what u guys think later

 

try a different gauge?
try having it diagnosed by a shop with a Dino and wide-band O2 ?

 

The factory oxygen sensor combined with a autometer air fuel guage won't tell you anything about your air fuel mixture.

You need to use a wideband oxygen sensor & guage/controller to really monitor your parts air to fuel
