Default Gsr smokin problem

Lately my car has been smokin. Its not losin oil. Its a 98 Gsr Ls tranny. Ran obd0 pr3 Ecu. Fuel pressure is set at 44 PSI. Compression test showed 240 across. The spark plugs are tannish color not dark at all. Friends said that it kinda smells like gas when they follow me. The only I could think is that the O2 sensor. I only have one O2 sensor but its spliced into both places on the ECU. Could this be the problem?

Does it smoke while driving or only at start-up? What color is the smoke?

If it smells like gas then you might be running rich.

what color is the smoke?
what does it smell like?
I am hoping the smoke is from the exhaust pipe.
Smoking under load/running at idle?
what oil are you running?
does your car warm up to operating temperature?
The o2 sensor I am suprised isn't throwing a cel on the ecu because that is how it knows to adjust fuel/air mixture. That will ruin performance/gas mileage. It is better to get the other 02 sensor replaced and wiring back to oem.

My friends said it was a white smoke under 4k its fine but if I rev it out to 8k it smokes like a biatch. No smoke at idle or driving normal. And yes from the exhaust lol. I usually run 5w-30 and it warms up drives normal. No problems. Its beats 8cyl camaros lol. Dunno any help is appreciated.

At that low of an rpm it might just be water in the exhaust like dew. It might have been turning into stream and coming out of the exhaust. If anything it would bet worse at higher rpm's. The problem may be worse when the car is cold because the internals are sealing the worse because they haven't expanded. If you are worried try 10w30 or 10w40 oil next time around. Are you running synthetic.

ps, I didn't watch your thread cuz I was under the hood my my g3. I dyno this friday and have a lot of work to do. Sorry.

The coolant is fine. I have noticed it does spit streams of water out if I rev it higher. I have a test pipe and a full free flowing exhaust.. So is this normal then? anything to be worried about?

if you have no catalytic converter that smoke is fine then. That is fuel that is burning in your exhaust pipe. That isn't water coming out your tail that is unburnt gas. A catalytic's function is to burn off all the unburnt fuel so it doesn't get into the atmosphere. Your car is probably fine, stick with the oil you been running.
