Default garret T20- all i want is low end.

I'm happy with my engines power, but I desire more low end pull. Would a garret T20 be the remedy for my problem.

What kind of performance can I expect out of a non modded sohc zc non-vtec.

The advertisers all say 30%

why not get a turbo that can give you low end and top end power? Kill 2 birds with one stone. Get like a GT28 or something

if you stay realistic, don't buy any ebay **** and find a good tuner how tunes the car you won't have ANY problems...

ok you see some ugly pics in this thread, but there are so many ppl runing without any problems... don't be so afraid... make a good research and make a moderate boost... nobody says that you must make a 600 WHP Monster... i think 300-350 is realistic and can hold very long with the right tune and the right components...

Check out a Jackson Racing Supercharger kit. They don't have the top end of a turbo, but they are great for low end power and have great drivability.

yeah I've been looking at the jrsc kit.... I've been searching around for a good price: the lowest price so far has benn 1800 from an ebay merchant w/ free shipping.

I dont have big hp goal like most ppl--- just need some nice pep and the rest of my money is going towards suspension up grades.

I might be wrong but the jrsc seems easier to install. no fussing with drilling oil lines.
Would it be smart to buy lower compression pistons while Im at it? I'm looking for the least amount of problems.

I would look into the kits that Prostreet online sells.

You can get a T20, T25, or a BB T28. Either one would be great for lowend torque.

I'm thinking about getting the T20 kit for my D15 beater just for kicks. And...A/C compatible.

That the smaller turbo would be more twitchy and put powr out too rapidly

Drop in an H22. /thread!

Otherwise, you're probably looking more towards a JRSC since a turbo still needs to spool up, yes even small T25's on a SOHC ZC. A JRSC will give you that much needed low end torque that most SOHC anything lacks.

you dont want low end power...i dont have a really small turbo but its pretty small and sometimes its hard to accelerate without going into boost...which is bad if you are trying to save gas....honestly to accelerate from a stop i have to go almost as slow as an 18-wheeler. not really that slow but you get the picture...plus low end power is just gonna get you more wheelspin ..just my input do what you please with it

this is very
do look into a supercharger if your looking for that smoth low end power even the smallest t2 turbo out there would not compare to the smoth low end acceleration of a supercharger.no big noise from flooring it, just a nice push to get you going fast from light to light.
