today i redlined 1st gear and when i tried throwing in 2nd gear i couldnt beacause my clutch never returned it was in the bottom........any body have an idea what this can be?

 

1st off check ur clutch fluid.... if its low its obvious ur out but as to why ur out...
if u r low on fluid no worrys just get some fluid and a bleed it but to fix ur problem check to see if u see any fluid around the master cylinder... if theres none scheck ur slave cylinder its probably that... its cheap and it wont take long to install ..
if not that i unno ....

 

i checked my fluid and its good

 

hmm did the peddell ever come back up or did it stay down?

 

If it stayed down then you have air in the line, and you need to bleed it.

 

i had my slave cylinder replaced last year for this problem, and about 3 weeks ago i had the same troubles, but this time it was only the clutch fluid level

 

the pedal stayed down but the weird thing is that it only does it when i floor the car
