i have a 97 prelude and i just got a lovefab shorty mani, looks great , tough to get on the studs but did it, anyway if i put the turbo on with the compressor housing on the driver side the impeller is sucking in the harness for my alternator, but if i switch it around the way i believe it is supposed to go the other way, the housing hits the block where the front motor mount used to be , the only thing i can think of is that you have to chisel the block a little bit or something anyone with any insight please help

If you havnt noticed on a drag manifold and some others you have to grind some of the block away just use a dremel and slowly do it until you get where you need it just make sure you dont go to far into the block ;-)

thats a common problem with every honda motor, dont be scared to shave the block
