Ok i have a 92 civic dx 4dr... i have an OIL Pressure gauge and an water temp gauge i want to know if i can splice any wire on the engine wire harness so that i can get those read outs with out having to install a temp and oil pressure sending units... help and pictures would be greatful...

i'm assuming your new gages are electric and not mechanical?to the best of my knowledge,the stock sensors aren't compatible with aftermarket gages.you'll have to either use a T fitting to retain the stock sensors,or find a different place to mount the sending units for your gages.

You need to put the senders on or else they wont work.

I think what you are asking is if there are already senders installed on the engine and all you need to do is attach your gauges?

No, you will also have to install the senders.

 

does anyone know the size of the fitting on the back of the block for the oil pressure sensor? i want to run a line up from there so i can mount my oil sending unit...
