Default oil pressure gauge

hey ht, posted this in electrical as well. just looking for more help. anyways i have a digital electrical oil pressure gauge and trying to see if i can wire my oil light in my dash into the same wire as my gauge so they work in tandem. i have the power wire and ground wire set as well as the back lighting... just wanna make the sender wire and my stock wire work together. thanks for any input.

Default Re: oil pressure gauge

You can't do that. Your gauge sending unit has a variable output and the switch for the light on the dash is static. It is either on or off - grounded or not grounded...
