Default Skunk2 stage 3's (not stage 2's!!)

i have searched for stage 3's but when i search all that comes back are stage 2's. my questions are:

How much of a difference is there between the stage 2's and the 3's?
How streetable are the 3's?
How realiable are the 3's?
Would jdm itr pistons bump up the compression enough to get most potential out of these?
Who has a set and how do you like them?

i now currently have a 95 GSR (obd1) and im wanting to build the head. yes i know that i have to do valves, valve springs, retainers ect but i wuz wondering about these cams particurally. thanks for the help

Im running 3's in my car right now and i dont think ur ITr pistons can handle the lift of the cams they are too big for your motor. You should stick with skunk 2s. The 3's are streetable and pretty reliable if you ask me. So, you need a GANK of compression to run those cams.

i mean one when revving up there ur going to get a higher speed and when u shift its gonig to land u back down in the power band causing it not to lag as much. also revving longer without having to shift as much

The S2S3's are one of the most streetable camshafts out there. The primaries are no bigger than a stock type r cam. They idle like stock, puttin around town is like stock, but when vtec engages it really lets loose. If you're wanting to put pct pistons in your gsr motor, it will give you enough compression for those cams, however you might run into piston/valve clearence. You said earlier that you "know you need to do valves." I personally would NOT do valves with that much lift. If you're looking for additional options I would suggest thr RM M22's. They have allot of duration that will extend the power band. No matter what camshaft you do, I would buy the RM valvetrain though, especially since you're wanting to rev to 10k. Hope this helps..
