Need help on speeding ticket.
yea i know im dumb.. i should of been speeding.. but yea, i got a ticket and i have no idea wat i should do. should i try to appeal it or pay for it?
dude, seriously, that's bad. you're lucky you even still have a license. if that is your first speeding ticket, or first in eighteen months, definitely suck it up and go to class to get that off your record.
its truly amazing you weren't arrested, i got hit at 105 once but that was in the middle of Montana... Get a good lawyer if you wanna get out of it, but its gonna cost you. Mine was 1500.

no i didnt get arrested. i got off in like 15 mins acutally.. ****** dude scared the **** outa me. i was with my gurl. i've had my license for almost 2 yrs now. just a civil citation.. basically a slap on the wrist with some bruses in other words. but i dunno if i wanna appeal and say that someone else was going just as fast.
It really woundn't help to say that, either way they busted you. It sucks but id just pay it if its your only one. Cuz a lawyer will cost more than that ticket, unless you find a cheap one, and the court still hits you with "court fees" either way its lose-lose
sorry man

no man. WHy would they cut it down? You were doing double over. They dont usually let that slide very easily in court. Especially if you are tying to con a way to get out of it when you know you were wrong. Stop trying to come up with some excuse because you were too stupid to follow the rules. Take it like a man.
its expensive thats the only thing.. if it was like 300 or somethin. id take it streight up.. but 650.. thats a lot rite there.
Consider yourself luck, like others have said...I'd have went straight to jail, car impounded, ect.... $650 is a **** load of money for a speeding ticket, but I seriously doubt there is any way you are getting out of it. If the cop was moving when he clocked you, you could cross your fingers, take it to court, and hope that the cop wasn't certified to operate the radar while moving (many aren't). I know a few people that have got off that way.
no sh*t, your already fu*k! I don't think you're be able to appeal or be cut down by those kinds of ticket. It's already consider a reckless driving since you speed past 100 mph. $650..?! holy moly here in cali we don't get to know the fine until the court paper gets to us.
i got the same situation as you did, i was speeding away from this car behind me at night which i couldnt recognize the car was but seeing the headlights only. I was driving a 90 crx si. decided to full throttle and hit around 115 mph and then the car behind me started to chase me but it was declining, then guess what..that car turn on that christmas light on and siren. I'm fu*k!! pull me over..i drank a 40oz. beer. he noticed i was a lil drunk. he told me step outside and test me. i passed it..(yay!) then he slap a ticket in my face..2 violations, speeding over 110mph and reckless driving. i was so stress out for days and the ticket never came in my mail. i was thinking somehow the officer threw the second copy ticket away. i'm so lucky..

Here in NC, the legal system/punishment for moving violations is pretty fogiving. Usually, you can just show up in court, plead guilty to the violation (before the judge even comes out), and the DA will actually call you up to try to reduce it to a lesser charge (depending on your previous history, of course). After that, the judge calls you up, and asks how you plead to the new charge. "Guilty," and you're off to the cashier's window to pay your fine and court costs...
Anyway, I used to get pulled often for speeding, before I changed my ways (for the most part, at least). Never lost or revoke my license in court though.
GL on whatever you do...
