gsr longblock with LS tranny

gsr longblock with LS tranny
ok well i thinking if i went GSR in exchange for my 13 year old b18a, how would it par mated with an LS tranny or atleast until I get money for a gsr tranny ?

yeah it will work. . . but once you go with a B16 tranny or a GSR tranny you'l realize how sucky the ls tranny is. . . i had an LS tranny mated to my LS/VTEC for a while. . . after I got my b16 tranny it was a WORLD of difference. . .

i would just recommend getting a ITR tranny and just skipping the GSR all together.....ideally i'd like an ITR w/ a LS 5th....

Bad idea...you will be hitting some serious mph in each gear...4th would probably be all you need to cruise around in. Also, putting a hydro ITR tranny in your cable equipped DA is going to be a piece of work. Also rather pricey. I say look around for a good condition GSR YS1 to go with your motor. I just bought one for $200 that I can return if it grinds/doesn't work. Or you can try to find the old school Place Racing tranny conversion mounts for our car.
