Default New to H-Tech and full of q's

Sup fellas...

I'm relatively new to Honda in general and its awesome to see this big of an online community. I recently purchased a '00 LS after talking to other teggy owners who love drivin and goin to the track. I have decent amount of money saved up for mods and im already thinking swap. I was thinkin JDM GSR and just run boost all day, like 15psi. On that note, with JDM's 10:6 CR over the 10:1 USDM i was wondering if that would make much difference in trying to get max boost out of the motor and still being somewhat reliable. Not to mention smog issues...is JDM worth the trouble? So to all the veterans out there your expertise would be much appreciated.... Thanx

15psi on CR or stock compression of either USDM or JDM will going to make a hole on your block i believe

15psi = rebuild stock block, soem head-work, fuel sys, ecu,

Ok maybe not 15psi, but more than the standard 7or8. Also, does anyone know a good place to find swap guides?
