Fixed TPS/EGR but broke this off...anyone know what is it / what it does?
Hey guys, I've finally cleaned out my EGR ports and all that good stuff, but when i was pulling those taps out i accidently broke a piece of manifold that holds this valve. I'm not sure what this valve does, but it's got some kind of spring behind it, that opens it and closes it? Now I've used some JB Weld to stick it back in place but not sure if that will hold. Now my questions is what is this part, what's it used for, does it need to be in original place as it was or can It be anywhere to function? Here are the pictures of that piece I broke off

thats ur IAB vacuum diaphram, its not essential for your car to run, but that jbweld does look like it will fall off eventually.
what I would do is just pull out the entire plate, then bolt the top of the manifold to the runners directly, with shorter bolts
