Engine shuts off when boosting!
This is pretty wierd. Its like 20 degrees outside, feels like -20 with the 30 mph winds.
Anyways, my car is not running very smooth in this weather! It feels like I'm running really rich. I was on the highway and boosted in 4th, shifted to 5th, boosted in 5th and seconds later, i dont feel any boost! This was at night. All my lights dimmed down, I looked down at the tach and the BATTERY LIGHT is lit up.
So I'mlike "Crap!". But I crank the car up while in neutral and the car starts up again?!?!
Any reason why my car would just shut off like that. Its never happened to me before. I'm running Bosch +4 Platnum plugs and have been running them for over a year with no problem.

did you hit ~112 mph? thats the fuel cutoff for imported b18b's. that happened to me, battery light and everything. i just let it coast a little and decelerate and then everything came back to normal. Actually i'm not sure if my engine turned off or not (i get a lot of road noise). i dont think it turned off cuz i didnt need to crank it.
Something like this happened to my friends integra. It would shut off while he was driving, we checked all the conectors, and even rewired it. Turned out somehow one of his wires melted under the fuse box.
battery connection wouldnt cause it, alternator runs the car when it's running, but it could be a poor ground.

It sounds like your alternator is not getting power to where it needs to go, easiest thing to do is check your connections hot wires as well as grounds.
