Default Help!!!

Car's a 94 civic d16 stock.

Hard starting, acceleration's not smooth, car shakes/bogs on low rpm. will stall at times when going to first gear. (not cuz of my driving )

Recently replaced spark plugs, distributor cap. Also when facing the distributor cap, the wires are not in order "counter clockwise" (1, 2, 4, 3) Cant recall if they're supposed to be.

Thanks for the help guys. I really appreciate it.

1,2,4,3 is right for counter clockwise but make sure the 1 is in the right spot. there is a C or A1 (depending on type of dizzy) to note location of #1

C should be directly in between the hole and the center

A1 should be just barely off to the side of the hole

Well, took it to a mechanic and they couldnt find anything wrong with it.

Also noticed that the small hose from valve cover to the air filter tube is slightly bent. Wonder if that may be causing it

Change that hose. I think you simply have a vacuum problem which will cause all of those symptoms.
