Default CEL code 92

Throwing code 92 - Evaporative Emission Control System Insufficient. Can anyone extend on this farther? WTF is it? Just installed uberdata, checked on ubersite for this already just waiting for response but I also have a rough idle, well not rough but up and down and poor throttle response, like I mean terrible. Timing? O2? Any input appretiated. Thanks guys.

Well if you converted to OBD1 you should not be throwing this code. Is your car originally OBD2??? Most of the time its just the gas cap, or fuel tank pressure sensor, or can even be the charcol canister(witch I doubt).

originally obd0, the throttle response is fine prior to connecting the J1 jumper to my eprom. but once I connect it so it reads the chip I get either code 2 or code 92 either or..mostly 92 but never both at the same time. Theres a FTR tab thats checked on UD that I could uncheck but I'm not sure what it is? Total confuzzlement.

I should mention I changed my fuel pump. Also alot of pressure is released when the gas cap is removed, but its been that way since I bought the car and I'm doubting that sensor cause throttle is fine when running off just the ECU and not the chip.
