Default Ok any ideas?

Just to summarize, sept 04 i blew the h23a1, swapped in a jdm f22b, and blew the o2 sensor. I ran with the busted o2 from oct -> beg may .... due to low funds. Well I replaced the o2 sensor, and I can feel some gains back in acceleration, and the mpg are better but not as good as I feel they should be. My acceleration also feels choppy, and theres times where it chokes. However the only code being thrown is the knock sensor code (h23 ecu w/ knock sensor + jdm f22b w/o sensor). So whatever wrong isnt throwing a code. Im thinking maybe the cat could be either clogged or partially clogged, but not really sure. Anyone have an idea?

Symptoms

-Not perfect gas mileage
-Random choking in acceleration (Like not producing much power, and is taking a long time to go through the power band)

well since you are not running a knock sensor, the ecu response by retarding the timing and running richer

there are 3 ways of solving this that i know of:
1.f22b ecu
2.find a way to add a knock sensor on the block(best way to go)
3.install a different ecu(non-h-series) but that would require you to go w/ hondata

So the lack of acceleration might be because of the knock sensor code being thrown, and the a/f ration getting messed up? and that might be the bad gas + accel problem? Can they add a knock sensor on a block?

it looks like this may be the problem from reading through other things... but I can't find a post on how to fix the problem . I really dont wanna swap ecu's if possible
