Turbo 4 class and RWD
Download the rulebook HERE
But to answer your question: RWD are only allowed DOT street tires.
AWD with one power adder can run slicks. AWD with two power adders are only allowed DOT street tires.
FWD guys get all the good stuff!

That makes no sense if you think about it. Whats more deadly. And AWD with a power adder on slicks or a RWD in any form on dot tires.

Well, considering that "most" AWD 4 bangers came factory equipped with turbos, that's their one power adder. But I believe there is a higher weight min. for AWD and RWD vehicles.

HaHa! But look at who's on top in T4?
AWD does have it's advantages. But not when paired up against 2100lb FWD guys on 26" slicks. The 60 ft's from the Honda/FWD camp rivals (or even better) than most AWD guys in this class. The advantage actually goes to the lighter competitor, given the same HP levels.

I tried to download the rulebook and it gave me a 404 error something. Now the question is which d.o.t tires do the allow? I know that power street only allows nitto and bfg. Oh yeah how many of you guys are coming to the Bristol Event in July?

They're not that many AWD cars that compete in Turbo 4. Sean Ivey will be running in some of the east coast Turbo 4 events. Sean Ivey ran 9.82@150.4 in testing last night at Englishtown and that was with a 1.62 60ft. Sean has pulled 1.4 to 1.5, so when he gets one of those 60ft times his car is going to go even faster. Unlike some of the other DSM out there running in turbo 4 Sean's car doesn't break and he's very consistent.
