The OH/IN (mid-west) region will be racing at Beaverun that same weekend. I normaly try to hit every NASA summit point event, but with Beaverun being closer to me, that's were I will be that weekend.

That's where I'll be as well, along w/ the rest of the MWHC. Originally the ECHC was supposed to come to BeaveRun to run with us, but since everything got sorted out at Shenandoah Circuit, they will be there w/ NASA MA, and then coming to BeaveRun over the Labor Day weekend to race with MWHC. Best of luck to all of the ECHC/NASA MA drivers at Shenandoah.

Regards,

Sam

I would have liked to do an HPDE that weekend, but it happens to be the same weekend as the Toledo tour.

I'll be there for the WERA race on the main circuit. I'll be bouncing back and forth both days.

Any HC guys need a hand turning wrenches or checking tire pressures, let me know.

i went to shenadoah yesterday for that free day..... the first session was downright scary.... bumps, little run off, etc..... but after that is was a lot of fun!

I ran 4 fairly long sessions and got to know the track.... you can figure out where the bumps are and avoid most of them....plus they are going to fix some of them.... there is a lot of crown to the track so you have to watch that as well or you will meet the tire wall (or if there are no tires, you can meet the cement wall).

if you drop even one wheel you are likely to hit bottom...... but if you stay on the track it is a bunch of fun.

i am planning on being at the race.

o ya....they changed the actual racing track to avoid that huge cement wall that was along the pits.....that part is now used for pits and not racing.

I will also have to miss this race. My Crew Chief's graduation is June 11th (congrats, Sean!). I really shouldn't miss that.

This will be only my second missed ECHC race weekend, with the first immediately following Hurricane Isabel...

Enjoy folks!

I like many have only walked the track and seen a few in car vids. Rj's in car vid shows the brunt of the course but the configuration now is a bit different(better).

I am torn between Beaver and SC but I think I may give SC a try. Looks like it may not be as crowded as most NASA summit weekends and also one must worry what NASA will do this July for HyperFizzlle. Perhaps run some portion on SC?
