Default Type R ecu?

Im getting a type r block with skunk2 stage2 cams/gears and springs and retainers. Will a type r ecu improve anything?

its ok...i mean dont get me wrong...it will run the car but i highly recommend some chipped P28 and dyno the car to get the most out of it
