ITR #0055 New owner, tell me what you think (56k?)
Hey guys i know this car has already had its fair share of whoring out by its previous owners, but ive made a bunch of changes, and a jdm itr swap is in the works, or maybe a mild build. so tell me what you think about it!!! Oh also id like some suggestions on lowering it a little bit but i cant really afford anything as nice as the tein flex's. i love the way it rides and handles stock, and i want the same, but lower. any help or comments are appreciated.

its had like 3-4 owners i think, maditr55 on here, and then a local guy had it for like 6 months, now i have it... the last guy that had it hit a parked car or something but of course i didnt find out until i bought it, the carfax was/still is clean as a whistle. it sucks, but at the same time everything has been fixed so i guess its not so bad. I guess my car was pretty much the neighborhood dirt bike, everyone got a chance to dog the **** out of it. As for the protection, i keep it in the garage, and theft isnt as bad here as it is in most places. my insuracne is still through the roof... like 175 a month.

Well, he put NOS on the car. Or was it ZEX?
As far as I know, he took care of it aside from that. It wasn't heavily modified when he had it, and he had a lot of other machines.

A jdm swap is way too much work. Be easier to pull that motor and send it out to get built, the you have a new motor that can take some abuse instead of another stocker.
Good luck.

Yes, I was about to say that. Bad thing as he was a scammer and tried to sell the R to someone w/o telling him the bottle was on it before. Too bad I lost $500 from him. Just take care of that car, it's better off in good hands. Welcome back to VA #55!

whoa.. wild.. I saw 0055 and was like "umm.. except I just walked away from #55 like an hour ago"..
<-- has #98-0055..

just bc someone had a bottle doesnt mean the motor is ruined. I ruined my motor without nawz
and I agree, swapping in a jdm motor just bc its burning some oil is silly, and costly. be much better off pulling the block, sending it out to a machine shop and see whats up. probably just needs new rings and honing. check the head too while you got it out. while your in there might as well throw in some .25 over CTR pistons, balance it, slap it back together.
