Ok...So I got my new clutch and fw yesturday all on and **** and I drove the car home today. I got in, drove it home...and it was fine. Later on I went to the gym and when I got out I went to my car and turned it on and it like hessitated to start...and usually it idles really high, but it was stuggling to idle at like 800krpm.
I drove home...got out, and heard a weird noise and smelled something I have never smelled before (some say a new clutch sometimes smell?) But it also let out a cloud of grey smoke when i was driving too...I dunno why.
Checked the ecu, throwin a code 14 which is the iacv, and a code 43...fuel supply system.
I have no ****** idea what could be wrong. I am not anywhere near a mechanic, and I dont know what to check first.
Help

All right smartass. Help us help you.
Should we assume that it's an EF?? No? Maybe you drive an 86 Ford Escort?
Anyway, give us some details about the car and maybe someone can help.
Try resetting the ECU and driving again 1st. And make sure all of your injector clips are secure.
And nobody gives a **** that you went to the gym muscle boy (J/K)

You could be running rich or your 02 is dead. I know that when I had the fuel pressure cranked up on my B20 it would throw that code every once in a while cause it was running quite rich.
Blaze
Blaze
My ***** are sweaty. I think Blaze is on to something though. Haynes tells you that if it gives you code 43, check the O2 sensor first. If it wasn't mis-firing then it probably wasn't a loose injector clip.

Nice to know your ***** are sweaty.
I had a code 43 once that was due to a loose injector clip with no misfiring, it was only loose enough to cause intermittent disconnects, but it also had a lowered idle like he describes kinda like every other pulse was missing on one injector

if your car runs fine still then its most likely just the o2 sensor, replace it. i replaced mine with one i got form the junkyard for 10 bucks. works great.
