Default Will both of these trany work?

Sorry if this is in the wrong place but:

Im getting a d16z6 and i need a tranny too. Will a 92-95 vtec tranny work also? Is the 96-00 tranny better?

d16z6 = 92-95 SOHC vtec
96-00 tranny is better, shift forks are stronger

oh, for some reason i said the d16z6. i meant the d16y8. ok so they are interchangeable and the 96-00 is a little better, awesome! thanks a lot!
