Default My intercooler is dirty and dingy...

What do you guys use to breathe new life into your intercoolers by making them look decent again?

I tried an Aluminum Polish by Mothers, but the polish got stuck between the fins of the intercooler. Any other suggestions?

The only think that I can think of is an acid dip (local machine shop) or a some sort of really high pressure high temp pressure washer... If were talking homemade style, TTT cause I would like to know as well...
