how do I fix an Throttle plate sensor error code? DOHC ZC
I finally got my DOHC ZC motor up and running today. I have 2 error codes, 7 & 13. 13 is for barometric pressure or some nonsence like that and 7 is for the TPS. My car was idling around 3g's and felt sluggish. Curious, do I have to swap out the sensor all together or is there a trick or tip to fix the sensor currently on the car? and also will this error effect performance? I thought a ZC motor in an HF crx should feel faster then my stock y7 EK Hatch.
It most definitely should feel faster. The TPS should be set to a specific voltage at idle and at wide open throttle. http://www.integra.orcon.net.nz/tps has some good info. - Darrell
Thanks Darrell ill look at that link. Im not sure whats wrong with the motor, has good compression and only receiving those 2 error codes. Would a tps code be tripped if I dont have an intake on the car?
I know I have 87 octane in the car right now, not sure if thats effecting anything. I want to make sure this car is running absolutely perfect before I let people test drive the sucker.
