Default spoon caliper

Is it, in any way, possible to fit spoon calipers on a 4-lug hub? If so, what all is needed?

The 4 lug spoon calipers would be a good start.

There is no such thing as a "4 lug spoon caliper".

This picture below depicts what Spoon sells as their "Brake conversion parts" for the use of Spoon calipers on non Type-R 5 lug hubs.

However, the Spoon calipers themselves are not 4 lugs specific. It is the other parts combined (larger rotors, inner spacer set, and long hub bolt) that allows you to use the same Spoon 4pot calipers that the EK9 and DC2R guys are running on your 4 lugs hub.

My advice to you is to find out what it takes to run OEM Type R calipers & rotors on your 4 lugs hub, and once you've settled that, any twin-block Spoon calipers will fit without any problems.

you'll need a 5mm spacer behind the rotor at the hub together with the 11.01" rotors from a DC2 integra or EK9

thanks for all the help. Is there any difference between the OEM R and the spoon rotors? Also, is their diameter the same? So in essence, I would need to find a rotor that is the same diameter as the OEM R (or spoon) that is 4-lug compatible, and use a 5mm spacer for the hub?

Why is it that I havent seen any 4-lugged spoon brakes on H-T if it's possible?

Hey are the right?
15" front rotors?
14" rear rotors?

What do you need 20" wheels to clear those?
hahhahaaa..

true and why do the spell ROTOR as "roter". hahahaha m4D JDMstyle yo!!! and "no smorking in the car"

but seriously you should get some huge brembo calipers from a porshe or something, spoon calipers are not that hard to bolt on a 4-lug. but look into other possiblities as well, dont get hung up on the 'spoon' factor
