Default replaced fuel pump car still doesn't start 90 accord coupe lx

I left my car at my brother's house over the weekend to go home for mothers day. When I got back on sunday my car wouldn't start. when I turn the key to the on position I didn't hear the fuel pump priming. I just got thru replacing my fuel pump in my car and it still won't start, right now I'm looking at my main relay but I all the connections look good. What else could it be that keeps my car from starting. My car is a 90 honda accord lx coupe.

Could be starter or battery?

both are good. I opened the nut to the fuel pressure regulator and it is bone dry.

You can't just "look" at the main relay. The solder joints develope hairline fractures. That's what kills them. Resolder the joints or replace the relay.

Also check the fuel pump fuse/relay. Dont know what it is in these cars.

if it was my main relay my fuel rail would still have fuel in it. I don't think my fuel pump is getting power. But will try it. Thanks

If your fuel pump is not priming then it I'm 99.9% sure its your main relay. The reason the fuel rail doesn't have fuel is because the system looses pressure over time and it just draines back into the lines and tank.

The other really easy way to check to see if its a main relay is when you turn the ignition on but don't start it. Watch the check engine light. When it goes out you should hear a click coming fromunder the dash. If theres no click its the main relay.
