NEPTuned h22 380whp/320tq!!
(This was taken from the turbo forum)
as many of you know i have been having major issues w/ my car and finally we got to making some good numbers:
set-up is stock head/built bottom end h22,
9:1 comp
Msd ignition(sscoil and 6a box)
Plugs gapped at .018
around 20deg of total timing
NEPTune
and the good ol' t3/t4 60trim .63a/r turbo
NOTE: car made this power w/ secondaries removed as secondaries made it lose power throught the rpm range..
run done at 18psi on 93pump

THANKS Jeff!!

This is what I am looking for. Could you be more specific with regards to the parts used in your build and what did you build up?. What brand of turbo and any other mods other than what you listed that contributed to those great numbers. We have a Neptune tuner here is Charlotte, NC so I would be able to get that done. How has the gas mileage changed for you. I see you use pump gas. That's good.
Any other info you can give would be great!
Thanks,
Duron

turbo is a garret t3/t4oE 60trim, w/ .63 a/r hotside and a t31 turbine wheel
dumptube is atmosphere,
DP is 2.25in going to a expander/3in testpipe to a full 3in exhaust w/ 2 resonators.
so there will be gains expected from a 3in DP

yes head and manifold are stock,
no port and polish or anything of that nature..vavles were adjusted though right before the tune,
.006 intake and .007 exhaust
john d yeah i seen you post also, (
good job to you too)
jeff called tony on the day of my tune and asked about you car..he said he remembered he had to add just a little more timing then normal to your car so we tried that with mine but only like 1 degree more or so..and that was the results..
prelittleludei don't know the numbers, but i don't think he pushed it too hard because he doesn't really like to let cars leave w/ any kind of crazy timing maps..i'll try to find out though.
