Default Evans-tuned.... h22 380whp 320tq!!

as many of you know i have been having major issues w/ my car and finally we got to making some good numbers:

set-up is stock head/built bottom end h22,
9:1 comp
Msd ignition(sscoil and 6a box)
Plugs gapped at .018
around 20deg of total timing
NEPTune
and the good ol' t3/t4 60trim .63a/r turbo

NOTE: car made this power w/ secondaries removed as secondaries made it lose power throught the rpm range..

run done at 18psi on 93pump

THANKS Jeff!!

Nice power and I like the torque curve. Nice and flat.

^^ I would also like to know the answer to this... You should make power above 7300. Nice numbers though, the torque curve is reallll nice and flat.

So what was the problem with it? Just the secondaries needed to be knocked out? No ignition problem?
I talked with Jeff about it at Etown after you PM'ed the other week

What size injectors are you using? I'm running an identical setup cept I'm using a GT35R. Going Neptune soon as well!

Injectors where RC 750cc

and the reason why this graph ended at 7300 was because when we were trying to find what was the deal with the secondaries we were limiting the max rpm at different rpms and when we tried it at 7300 with the secondaries off we got these numbers.. we raised the rpm to 7500 and power keeps going up and peaks at like 380whp but i don't have a copy of that dyno..

plugs were gapped at .018 because in the beginning i had major spark issues w/ stock ignition..

PETE: i guess the problem was a mix of the stock ignition, and breathing issues via cat and DP location, so after we fabbed up a one-off DP (nice job BTW jeff) and a test pipe and with the msd lighting the mixture, the car was able to breathe alot better it also sounded alot more mechanically sound while it was reving..

so after i get used to these new numbers, next step is to lose the ac and go w/ a full race manifold and DP and see if i could lift my tq #'s to 375+ at the same boost level

It must be sleeved. Forged internals and FRM cyl walls don't work well together. My car is being started up tonight for the first time. Cannot wait...
