What should i do, im going to race for $200 next week with my crx vs. a dsm i have never ran a dsm heavily modded. He is a fully built dsm with a t-66 turbo and a 100 shot i think we both are 11 sec cars. so what should i do race or not...set up:

My Car:
1991 crx h22a4
arp stunds all around

bottom end:
type s pistons 11:0:1
re-sleeved
balanced and blue printed

Head:
5 angle job
skunk2 cam gears
skunk2 stage 2 cams
skunk2 retainers & valve springs
port and polish stage 5

Other:
skunk2 intake mani
str 68mm throttle body
walbro 255 pump
aem fr and fpr
feilds vtec and fuel controller
skunk chip (i think)
100shot wet nx

hell yeah or video tape it at least

i'm guessing he's awd, so your fucked off the line, but that's a pretty big turbo so maybe a little lag for you. both spraying.......i'm gonna give the edge to the dsm

u guys should stop using such short abreviations so much cause noobs like me dunno wut ur trying to say some of the time

eclipses and talons for the most part

Which is it dude? More mods since you last ran the 1/4?

 

if hes got an eclipse.. bring on the honda. for the talon, ya ur basicly fucked off the line if hes got mods, and as u said ur both 11 sec cars so hes obviosly got mods. so i dunno

since you're both 11 sec cars, i think it would just be dependent on who gets the best jump and skill level...w/o F*ing up

 

find out if he takes check, or you need to stop at a atm on the way

 

the dsm is a awd 4g63 fully built head to toe. The only thing is my 1/8 time is better than his. my cars last ran with a 100 shot was 7.62@92.5mph on 23'' slicks with full interior. his was i think like 8 flat on stock tires

well if u race make sure u get a video for us....that would be a hell of a race good luck to u an the rex

 

as long as you slap on some slicks you got a chance otherwise your just gonna spin...g/l

 

its going to be on the street put it goes on to the freeway (sick as ****). i think im not going to run on slick because when i get into 4th i know hes going to fly pass me. His trap speeds are about 15-20mph faster than mine. a turbo that big takes forever to spool 26psi...i was thinking to up the nitrous to 150 shot? what do you think
