Default To those who are driving at the EXPO

I know most of you guys are going to be changing out parts during the driving event and will probably run into problems with some parts.

My question is, what kind of parts will you be running into that you may need?

I'm thinking about bringing a Honda crate full of small parts here and there for the event.

Honda Bond
Urea Grease
Throwout bearing
Clutch
Pressure Plate
Valve Cover Gasket Set
Valve Cover
Spark Plug Tube Seals
Valve Cover Studs Inner and Outers

Maybe an entire ITR Transmission?
A spare Long Block? I have 3 Long Blocks

What do you guys think?

I don't need anything, but just a few suggestions what people might need.

Oil Filters
Oil & tranny plug washers
Tranny fluid
Brake/clutch fluid
Spark plugs
Cap & Rotors

Sorry, this is a bit OT:

Len: You've got your PM's disabled -- How much for an OEM axle for a 98 ITR? Thanks.

I will be bringing my entire SNAP ON tool collection for you all to use and borrow. Just don't run off with them.

I have 3 torque wrenches for low, mid, and high torque requirements.

How about a little love for the FI Hondas?

OIL DIPSTICKS! I'm down to my last two.
Hose clamps, useful for all
Front and Rear brake rotors, there are gonna be a number of people looking for the nearest Autozone for rotors... If Autozone runs out..
Brake pads? I don't imagine too many people looking for OEM pads, maybe rears... and enough people bring spares.
Butt Plugs Always useful.
Brake lights, turn signals, etc.Lots of people driving 1000 miles will probably burn out a few of them.

Brake pads are a go because there will be some people wanting those. However, Brake rotors are too expensive even for the price I'm going to be charging: 5% over cost. (PRICES FOR ITR EXPO ATTENDEES ONLY!!!)

I will bring one or two extra sets just in case. I will try to have a list up before we leave from Atlanta.

More suggestions are more than welcomed.

Hey P Nut, there is a reason I have my PMs disabled silly.

Anywho, I can get Honda Remanufactured Axles for you for $266.54 for the set with a core or add $140 to that price if you don't have OEM Cores.

While knocking on wood I honestly don't think the motor will let go, and I'm working on a solution to repair the tranny.

I really appreciate the offer to bring parts even large parts to the Expo.

Just an off the wall question, Will there be anyone in the Parts Dept while your out to take care of an emergency? Ya know if there is a part needed at expo that you did not bring... would there be a way to have it shipped overnight?

how about some common hardware...nuts, castle nuts, bolts, etc

a lot of that stuff is near impossible to find at a hardware store in the correct grade and thread pitch.

Provided that the part is in stock, there should be no reason why my co-workers can not have that part overnighted to you. I will make sure parts are sent in a timely fashion while I'm gone. Plus, I'll only be gone for Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.

Good point. I'll be sure to bring axle nuts, lower ball joint castle nuts, cotter pins, upper ball joint castle nuts, drain plug washers for both transmission and oil, drain plug for both transmission and oil, and other miscelaneous nuts and bolts.

Keep it coming.
