i unpluged the iacv and it makes no difference and i dotn get a code at all...i used a friends bin from an older version and it throws a code even when it is conected(its ann obd 2 iacv and mabye thats why so yea just wondering if they disable the iac by default

first of all do you even have itbs? 2nd version 1.1.6 is out. and 3rd iacv controls havent changed between the latest versions, iacv is not disabled by default that i know of.

umm yes i have itbs....
ive downloaded the latest version so it must be 1.1.6 ..

the reason i ask is i dotn throw an iac code when its not hooked up ...but when i use older version ..liek the first version i get my iac code up ...

when i drive in traffic it feels like not having an iac ...it revs up and down very fast at 1500 rpm and when i try to keep a steady speed it jerks on me and throttle shuts off abruptly and comes back on ...then off then on ...very hard to drive ..in fact im sick of it lol so i took the cavaqueer to work today

yea i ahvent been able to find anything saying its been disabled but i cant even post on pgmfi right now for some reason posted dont go through

It might be that the TPS voltage is off and it needs to be scaled in crome.....you should have someone that knows crome take a look at your bin file and adjust it......I would also recommend that you have the car tuned because the bin you are using is not for your engine and it could cause some damage if the car is not tuned properly

both speedz and jdogg have had there go at it ..the car runs mint and is fast and judging by the plugs there burnign safely.....doesnt matter what bin how rich or how lean it is ...i cant shake this bucking ....liek i sad i would swear i had a manifold on the motor and my iacv wasnt workign

and i have scaled the tps correctly in crome as well ...theolder version knows the iacv isnt the right one a trows a code but the newest version has no codes....im gonna try a obd1 iac with the older version and see if it helps...

need ot get the vc leak fixed as well im sure its contributiing

thanks for the responces

lol i hope that is the problem...i found this last night and i wonder if it s been getting worse as the time goes....caus ewhen i first strated tunnign the car was very drivable but took tim e to get the a/f right....then as i got the a/f better the drivability got worse ..

seems liek the obvious start of a long road of double checking my timming belt and dizzy timming and the like

im soo happy i just hope that somone can figure out the problem with 1.6 so i can go back to it

Send John Cui an email or make a thread on pgmfi.org. He can't fix a problem if he doesn't know its there.

well it seems that 1.6 doesnt disable iacv but it doesnt realize that its not there and try's to function even when its no tthere

so i hooked up an obd1 iac ans it works fine...still hard on and off the throttle but other thne that at least i can drive with looking new
