What would be the point to have a jdm D15B VTEC swapped into a 92-95 Civic ex?
If you already have a z6 that works fine then don't swap it in. A lot of the 92-95 dx, cx, vx owners like to swap them in because they are slightly more powerful than the z6 and they are cheap.

swapping but also sticking with a SOHC theory. Alot of people are more fond of D series motors out there.
i love my old d16. wish it wasn't blown. i went with a b16 and happy. d15b would be my small beater if i ever get another spare car.

I was able to smog my d15b with no problem....but then again, my smog guy didnt bother to look at the motor.

And that is about the only reason. Same configuration, practically the same power, no point unless replacing blown motor.
