Default bet going money on the line!!!!!!

Ok so i have a bet going with a friend of mine and it is no big deal but we would both like to know. On the dohc zc there has been alot of debate on the horsepower rating as some say 130 hp and others say 137 hp so what is it people.

With a 9.6 CR, a healthy motor should be able to pull off ~105 after drivetrain loss. But this is only my opinion, I have no factual evidence, but I would say that is pretty close. Also, I have yet to see a true baseline dynograph on a DOHCZC, but then again I haven't looked. - Darrell

Well most JDM motors are rating on the Japenese version of power which is PS. I dunno if this is like a metric system or what but it reads a little higher. With say a 1st gen b16a is rated at 160 ps in the us version is actually reads around 153 hp. So I'd day your jdm zc is actually gonna be about 126 hp.
