Honda Access Integra Door Visors Install
Does anyone have a link or writeup with pictures on how to install these? I got some in from Hell Toe and it didn't come with any instructions. I've spent the past 40 minutes or so searching, but all I get are installs for EK.
ON a Ek... I dunno but I did mine on the R and it took about 2hrs a side. you really don't need directions if you sit and look at each part.
You might have to drill a small hole on each door, and that was a bitch. there was two layers of metal there and the screw does not reach thru both pieces so you have to counter sink it to make it catch.
If you run into a problem, post up a few pics and I know there have been a few people here that have installed them in the past and might help you out.

I'm messing with it now. The only thing at this point is I have no idea which bracket goes where. I have some brackets included but I don't know where they mount on the door. I'll try and get some pics up soon to show.
What I would suggest doing is placing the window visor on top of the rubber moulding. Mark the spaces where you need to make the cuts into the window stripping. Then proceed to make small slits and place the brackets within.
For the drilling, I opted not to drill out the hole and it is perfectly sturdy there.

they should install exactly the same as an ek I have no idea why you would have to drill **** HAHAHAHA!!! funney.

There is a hole you have to drill for the mounting point up in the front. It is already premarked but the hole is not present on usdm Rs apparantly.

Ok Here's a couple pictures I took to hopefully help me out. Here's the brackets included. I labeled them for better reference.

I have 2 more of each of those brackets above except the ones labeled C. Those are the only 2 I have so I'm assuming one goes on each door. Now here's my door.

Anyway to tell from the pics I provided which brackets go where on the door?

Here's the only hole that's on the door behind the weather strip. I'm trying to understand this. This hole is the only one I mount with a screw and bracket, while the others are just tucked in there?

ok got it..somewhat. this is based off memory so bare with me
C bracket goes near the door jam side of the window and you'll have to cut the rubber on your window sill to fit it in. basically you cut a slit in the rubber horizontally and slide the side with no hole in the slit and slide the bracket in so the hole side is facing up. someone correct me if i'm wrong.
A goes in the middle hole on your window sill
B goes towards your side mirror where the hole is not pre-drilled.
D I believe connects to A when you attach it to the window sill.
SOrry if it's really vague info, it's hard to explain without actually showing you...

is this a pic of the top of your window sill?
everything attaches to the underside. you'll have to pull the rubber down

Yes that's the top. So everything gets tucked in underneath, and it's THAT part of the weather stripping I make small horizontal cuts in correct? The brackets are held on that way by being tucked in?
you have to pull the stripping out which was a godamned bitch that sucks you guys dont have a beveled hole pre drilled into your doors for the visors

The first night I did mine the rubber didnt go back into place and when I finally got it into place and rolled my window up it popped out of its track and the rubber came off.
I had to remove my glass from the door and pull the whole piece of rubber out of the door and re align it. Took me 2 and a half hours to do. You can bet your *** I knew what to do and what not to do with the second window.

yeah everything gets tucked in underneath..the clips actually "clip" into and align the frame of the window. I'll agree with ekay_jeremy, most fustrating thing to install...
you'll spend about 4 hours on the first side and about 20mins on the other LOL

they used to be available for $115 now they can't be had for less then $150
As for the thief who wants to steal your car, do you really think a piece of plastic is going to deter them?
