Default Hondata s200 or Chipped p28?

Ok I have a Gsr w/ BC spec 3+ cams & gears. portflow springs retainers, Jdm 4-1 type r header, hondata gasket and blox manifold. I have a choice of getting either the hondata or chipped p28. My question is can I plug up the hondata and go I wont be able go get it tuned with the hondata for a month or so...will I be able to drive it and have it run reliable until then

What you need is a chipped ecu with a basemap on it for your setup that is Hondata ready
