Hit a Kerb..What did I bend?
Hi all,
Im new here so I apologise in advance if I ask something thats already been asked.
Anyway I've got a '97 JDM Integra Type R.
A little while back I hit a kerb with the left front wheel. The bottom of the tyre took all the impact and the wheel was slightly locked right.
The wheel is now pushed back (towards the rear of the car) about 3 inches, (like the caster is off), the wheel is also pushed in slightly at the bottom (like the camber is off) and the car pulls to the left when driving and the steering wheel viabrates when over 80km/h.
There is a small ammount of play in the wheel and a bit of a whine when it drives so I'm presuming theres a wheel bearing gone.
But as to whats pushing the wheel back I'm not sure. At first I thought it was the upper control arm but thats perfect.
All it could be now is the lower control arm. Does this sound right? I'll try post a pic up as soon as possible.
Im not too keen to bring it to a garage yet because a mate of mine works in the parts deparment of a Honda dealership so I can get the parts handy and doing the work myself, I don't mind.
Appriaciate any feedback/answers,
Cheers,
John

I had a similar incident in the snow last year. Slid into a curb going around a circle so the wheel took most of the impact. The aftermath.... a bent rota and lower control arm. Good Luck, price shouldnt be too bad
