Doing a bit of research into getting an adapter from our Sparco Evo with the Sparco sliders to the Civic. Which other Hondas share their mounting pattern with the EP3 Civic? Can you swap RSX seats into a Civic into a Civic Si these days without redrilling or anything? Thanks for any help!

 

I am almost positive that they are the same. I do know that putting ep3 or dc5 seats into an em2 will leave one bolt that does not match up.

 

Cool, thanks for the tip. At this point I think we're just going to fab & weld, but if anyone knows for sure what swaps with what I'd love to know.

 

well, i heard over on clubrsx that ep3 seats drop right into the dc5, but when i put mine in, one mounting bolt wouldnt line up perfectly(it was VERY Close, but we couldnt force it). so i just hammered the mounting point on teh chassis a little bit and it enabled me to bolt all 4 points up. i can show you a pic if you need more clarification

this was the best pic i could find, the ebrake is kinda in the way but you can see what im talking about



i circled the mount on the passenger side that wouldnt bolt up. i placed a flat object on the sloped part of the mount and hammered in the direction of the arrow ever so slightly, to make it fit. same thing on the drivers side, mirror image(the mount that wont fit is the rear, closest to the driver's door.

something else to note for those who put ep3 seats in their dc5, the seats are somewhat larger than ours. they are touching the center console and are VERY close to the door/side. just something to think about, i fear that after some wear and tear, teh seats will get ripped from rubbing against the center console when i slide them forward or back.
