what kind of radiator are u guys using with your turbod crx's.....i have a t3 turbo and a log style manifold...........and i am having a hard time fitting the half radiator ....its has to go on a slant because its to tall....any suggestions?

 

yep.. they usually need to be slanted. Custom brackets need to be fabbed up.

 

Full race makes one to solve the problem if you use it in conjunction with their traction bars.

I just used the stock replacement rad with an up graded pusher fan on the side opposite the stock fan(driver's side) in front of the rad and ran it off a toggle switch. works great and I haven't han any overheating issues since. If you live in an area without a lot of rain remove the covers that are below the sub-frame to allow the extra air that is being pushed in a place to go or else it may raise your ambient underhood temperatures. hopefully this helps a little. I had overheating issues for the first month with my turbo and after I did this it was fine.

 

Use exhaust wrap on your manifold, downpipe, hot pipes...this helps keep your underhood temperature near the radiator down.
Use an EG radiator and cut and weld brackets for it. That's if you like and know how to do custom fabbing.
