Default Idle adjuster screw/ Base idle adjuster screw

ive heard it called both things. Anyways, i adjusted it because my integra wasnt idling high enough. I realize now that it may have been a big mistake. After i adjusted it i noticed that the pedal seems to stick a little bit before it starts to give the car gas when being depressed. When shifting if you dont rev match it kind of makes the car jerk because of it.

So my question is...

Should that screw always be left alone? Did i make a big mistake and is the only way to get it back to the correct position trial and error?

Thanks in advance,

Ben

The screw should be a last resort. I dont think the screw will make your car jerk like that
