Hey guys I have been kicking the idea around the last week or so to make it more fun for you. So yes, I am going to pay you and make it fun. I was thinking that we could time all the laps in the final hour or so and the quickest guy gets some kind of cool prize package and the honor of something like "Carlisle HC Grand Prix Champion" What do you think? Shot me your ideas. Remember we can only run one car at a time. My other thought was to give a prize to the driver that makes his passanger **** him self before any other driver.

 

Alright!!! Some competition to play with! Are we going to have a handicapping system for those running the slower classes? I think it's a great idea though. How about, winner gets the model of his choice for let's say.... a year?

I am game for whatever. I have the reputation in the DC Region autocross scene as the one to stick a passenger with if you want the **** scared out of that individual . . .

I don't know if that is a good thing or not.

 

I forgot about the classes and that issue, I want to try and make it as easy as I can for Cobetto and his crew. With only 10 cars it would not make sense breaking down by class. Any other ideas? I'll talk to Chris about like a PAX or something like that.
Also, I should really do this in another thread but where is everyone staying at VIR, I've slacked off and getting a room and need ot do it ASAP.

I wasn't suggesting different categories for the 10 cars, just something like a pax system.

I'm staying at the Inn Keeper in North Carolina. I'm leaving the Philly area around 10am on Friday. You are more than welcome to caravan down (or up) with me if you want. I believe CivicSiRacer and El Pollo Diablo might be joining that caravan as well...

It depends on the work load what time I get out of here. I have to get 2 weeks worth of stuff done in a week so I can make VIR and then the GRM Challenge so it depends on what gets done on when I can leave.

 

I can hardly wait.. This will be a blast!

There is NOBODY...in ECHC, at Carlisle, in NASA or whatever...that wants to see me wearing a tube top and platform shoes.

I think RoadRacer is jealous. Think of all those tube-topped ladies who will want to meet the guy who's leading the points in H3.

Where's George.. Bryan' stired him up pretty good.. The people I give rides too, are quite quiet, and very, very white...

Tell me if this is a dumb Idea, why not just do RAW times.. Its a very short course, so the HP cars won't really get up to speed, and the lighter cars will make up for that little bit of lost straight speed in corners... Preludes suck *** in tight areas, a H5 CRX would really kick my ***...

To answer your question, probably not for a long time. I can't bring myself to replace my daily driver with something I won't enjoy driving. I think a tow vehicle will go on my requirements list for my next girlfriend....
