Please help me out. My car shifts good and does not grind but everytime gear pops when I accelerate, when I let go of the gas pedal, it goes back in the normal position. It does not pop out of gear but just enough that the car lacks power and cannot burn rubber. Some people tell me its the clutch but I'm assuming its the tranny. Any advice would be good

 

If it was the tranny, you would put it into gear, and you get up to about 5 on your tach and barely start to crawl.

It's your clutch, if you say its popping in and out, its your clutch.

You said it yourself when you said your tranny wasn't slipping.
