A/F Goes fat during shifting
Bone stock civic si (b16a) intake, header, blah.... yeah yeah yeah.... i'll get to boosting it some day.
I just installed the PLX, and have been driving around watching my new toy, and how the a/f reacts to throtle imput. I noticed when i shift, the a/f goes fat at about 9.7: to 10: and then goes lean, like it should. (and will read air, if i let off for long enough, which its supposed to do)
Is this normal from a stock ECU...?? seems inefficiant to dump fuel when im letting off to shift.
I also have a VAFC hooked up, so i have verified that i'm not slightly pushing the gas down when i go to let off for the shift.
any imput would be appriciated.... its not a problem, just wondering if its normal.
