Spark plugs for turbo setup
Hey guys, quick question:
My car specs: D16Y8, 9.6:1 compression ratio, turbo charged(6lbs boost, 180 whp)
The plugs i'm currently using are NGK BKR7E (1 step colder than stock).
My plugs foul up with carbon really fast (Turbo'd so it's running richer than before).
I just want to know if i go back to the stock heat range(level 6) will it help burn deposits more. I'm not that worried about detonation because of the low boost i'm running.
NGK says to go one step colder for every 75-100hp increase(i didn't increase by this much).
Thanks guys.
DAN
