Default Ignition Output signal?

after about 4 months of having the teggy sitting i finally get around to start it and take out all the winter kinks. now i was getting a **** load of codes and i began fixing all the problems. now im stuck with Ignition output signal. does this mean that the dizzy is bad or that there is a problem with the crank or cam position sensor? thanks in advanced

I have been having the same problem.I've been told that it could be a bad igniter unit in the dizzy or a short in the wire off the ECU going to the igniter.good luck

check that the dizzy is getting power, then check the wiring at the ecu.

if all is fine, change the dizzy. if it still throws codes, put the old dizzy back on, change the ecu, test that.

check your grounds, make sure they're clean.
