My 3 Year/ 36,000 mile warranty is over on March 13th......is there anything in particular i should have looked at. My cars a 99 Civic Coupe DX

On my 97, the starter motor, needed to be replace 2 weeks before my 3/36 ended. It was making a metal sound. Also the ECU was funny and had to be replaced. It was showing that the engine was misfiring, when it wasn't. It took 2 months to get the parts. It was on National backorder, so this was also a common problem with G6 Civics. Other than those two, there really wan't anything mechanical (major).

 

my 97's got 130,000 and still has the orginal ecu and starter motor
