Default OT: Mike K, could you help me out?

Hey Mike, I was wondering how much the stock intake for a 01 Type R would cost me? I bought my R used about 2 months ago, guy that owned it before me put a CAI into it, and I'd actually rather have the stock intake! I would probably need the intake hose, the airbox, and mounting bolts, etc. Thanks for the help.

Why buy a new one? There are tons of people where who have CIA's and would probably sell you a used one for dirt cheap.

Yeah, I'm actually talking to a couple of people about getting this part from them now. For much cheaper than what my local Acura dealer wanted...~$400.00 for everything!

That's my next move once I save up a little. Icebox coming my way! Figured if I could nail down a stock intake for under $100.00, that would be pretty good.

The Icebox is like 150 bux, and the Comptech Foam Filter (:thumbup is like 65... seems kinda silly to spend $$ on a stock system, then spend more on an aftermarket later.

I sold my stock air box for 50 bucks. There are people like me that just want to get rid of their stock parts and not have them laying around

all you really need is the actual hose from the TB to the filter

I have ITR intake tubes in stock, as well as one last Comptech airbox on the shelf.

I have a 99Si tranny, asking $900.00 shipped
No grinds. Beautiful.

I can give you an Si flywheel too if you want.

But sorry, no used ITR trannies.
